David, I don't know which Bosch plugs you can use but as a suggestion, perhaps give Rimmer Parts a call. They specialise in Rover parts and should be able to tell you what the Bosch equivalent is and (with some luck) supply it.

Hi Simon, Thanks for the tip. I have contacted them but they could only give me the Rover part number and not the Bosch number. I have now found out that the correct Bosch 4 point plugs are FR78X type and I have found a set of 4 on ebay for under £20 which I think is a good price. These plugs should fit all Morgans with the Rover M16 & T16 engines.

Can anyone point me to a website or dealer who can tell me which 4-point Bosch plugs would suit a 1.8 (Focus) blacktop Zetec?
I can't find a site which gives the info - not even the Bosch site.

Nigel Hi Nigel, this is a good site to check which spark plugs fit an engine (in the case of Morgans, as long as you know which car(s) your engine was sourced from). In the case of the 1.8 Zetec 16v, it was found in the Mark 1 Focus, last produced in 2004. This is the Bosch plug suitable for that model engine: - Bosch Spark Plug for Ford 1.8 Zetec HR8MCV+ - Bosch Super Plus Spark Plug ( +39 ) Thread Width: 14mm Thread Reach: 25mm Hex(nut) Size: 16mm Tip Description: Projected Terminal: Fixed I hope that helps. As John said, eBay can be useful but only if the merchant is through in describing their item for sale. There are quite a few companies selling Bosch plugs on there, so it may be worth contacting them and asking if they can supply the plugs listed above.

So, being hopeful and thinking ahead, what about the silver top from circa 1998? Presumably also a Focus engine? (Not really familiar with the 'moderns' - post carb CVH...)

If memory serves Morgan were using the Rover 2.0 in the Plus 4 in the mid to late 1990s.

Sorry, meant 4/4 from '98 - definitely a Ford Zetec silver top - I've looked under the bonnet, and driven it...

Thanks - however that's the standard plug, not the 4-point type. I had already tried that site, and it didn't list the Super 4 plugs by car model - I might have to phone them.
