There is no way it's a 'write off' even if the rebuild cost is going to be £250K, it's still worth 4 times that

Give me the DB4 ( not the GT )every time its not as fat and bulky drives better . It will be returned to the way it was and wont cost £1m to do it the £1m is the cost of purchasing another if stolen .

Ouch indeed. What a shame.

So the police say the car is a write off ? I always thought that was a matter for the insurance company.

In view of the price of db5's I'm pretty confident that the car will be repaired or "re-created".

No way was it ever worth £1m unless it had some special history - gross exageration by the paper. Even convertibles are half that normally
