Morning all,
A quick question - would I be right in thinking that the clutch on my '89 +4 M16 (LT77 gearbox) is as the short-lived 2 litre petrol Discovery, which had the same engine/gearbox set-up ?
All info will be very welcome !
Cheers,
Chris

Chris, i suspect if engine/gearbox are the same, also the flywheel/clutch will be ...and if it could pull a Discovery ,it certainly can our '89 Plus4... PS but i'm not sure , hope for you somebody will chime in who knows or already did the job....

Thanks Barry, that was my reckoning too, and, according to the LUK info, the plate diameter and number of splines also tie up. I'll see how it goes once I get the engine out....

Maybe no response because no one knows the answer?? Despite being an LR man for near 40 years I do not have an answer I'm afraid... Try asking BHM??
