Howard just fix the issue. Go for a rumble in shooters well run and well maintained example. He knows more about using one daily than anyone. He also has a similar bike itch.
My guess is the handling will feel a little heavy after the Lotus but the rest of the event will win you over. Then try a modern Plus8 like Peters with a manual box. I love the auto in the coupe but think the manual will be more to your liking.
You know the rules pee or get off the pot. Time you made the decision and deep down you know you have already made it really.

Fast enough for any public road.
Great driving experience.
The only real question is which one.

mic case. I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that I can either have a dynamically good modern car ( F type, Porker) and high depreciation or a car like the Aero that is less good dynamically but holds its value. The only way of putting together good dynamics and low depreciation seems to be

Nick  Are you sure that I dont already have one? But you are right. The forum is fed up of my indecision. I'm fed up of my indecision.  is fed up of my indecision. And I still havent decided. Dont know about you, but the decisions that I have never regretted are those which have come easily and quickly. Decided on the Lotus immediately at the end of my one and only test drive. Same with the first 1200GS. But my previous boat was a decision I bounced myself into after a long tyre kicking process finally irritated the hell out of me - and it was a bad decision. So I will buy nothing for now and will shut up on the whole subject before I get thrown off the forum!

Howard.You know what they say owning a boat is like standing in the shower ripping up ten pound notes ,another your happy twice when you buy a boat. The day of purchase and the day you sell it.Just think of all the petrol you can put in the Aero without those Marina fees.

It took me a few years to buy my first mog Howard but that was because everything I chased has sold before I got there and the waiting list was 6 years for a new one. But I knew I wanted one all that time. It's not a logical, intellectual thing. It's emotional. You know those pseudo psychological motivational books like blink etc. It all happens in the first few seconds at the most. So you could walk into a dealership now and look at the whole range and if you're not feeling "I have to have one of these" within a minute, then walk away and forget it. But, of course, if it is in your heart, when you get home you'll start thinking......maybe.......... Either trust your heart or not. It's not about the car, it's about heart v head in your life. Or watch the Prisoner I suppose!  Nick

Took me about 5 miles more to decide to buy the bike.Never regretted either decision.
