Ok I'll concede to not liking the hood on mine only because it's a pain to put up and take down

Although I do like the post 2006 hoods having hired a couple and I had a good look at a nice new red four seater that had just come out of the factory yesterday with a sand coloured mohair hood and it looked superb

You may have to travel to cover the topic well. And, if you don't, you may limit your audience.

Good point about taking experiences and featuring cars from around the world

Sounds like a great idea Stewart. I've oftern thought if we get into touring on a big basis in the future when time permits that a 4 seater is the way to go for the extra capacity. Although Jill thinks 3 days in a Mog is as much as she can do because of her rheumatism so my book might be "One man and his Mog" travelling solo in my two seater.

Sounds an interesting idea to me Stewart. They seemed to be very popular in the 60s 70s and look good to me, and are very useful. After all why have 2 when you can have4.

It is a great idea. Go for it. I may provide photos and other input. The local Morgan service station is currently building a four seater for the Paris-Peking challenge with interesting suspension modifications (such as air helper springs at the rear). I shall try to get some photos taken.

Another potential customer here, Stewart.

While I wouldn't want to impose 4-up motoring for any distance on my back seat passengers unless they were either (a) very small or (b) wearing a facial bee-strainer of some sort, there's no denying that the 4-seater is extremely useful for 2-up touring as well as short trips with the whole family. The ability to store a couple of decent sized cases in the (relative) warm and dry is a big advantage. Particularly if, like mine, you have an alternative "low-profile" squab for the rear bench that has enough cushioning to prevent luggage bouncing around (well, not quite, but you know what I mean...) but gives an extra couple of inches of space below the tonneau cover.
