When I was in my early 20'sI had a good time with a lady some 10 years older than me. I did enjoy the relationship for a while.
My granny than just dropped a comment: "It's best to use an old bicycle for learning to ride".
My late Father had a similar expression " you don't need to buy the cow for a glass of milk" not very subtle.... Bit like the one.... "Son, make sure the girl you go out with has small hands.... Makes your **** look bigger!"

I did , reminds me of dad before I met  went out with a girl who had a flat stayed out all night . When I got home dad said " does she snore son" . I did not know how fast to get out of the room.

Richard and I looked at the photos very pretty girl  . One happy family . Me a shrinking violet more like a thorn in everyones arse. John.

No you are bloody great John don't go changing now your June and daughter wouldn't trade you for the world I know. I've never ever had breakfast served to me on a tray - only you you old smoothy could pull that one, what a good wife you have - she's not doing that out of boredom.. Back to the airbags then  for my arse you understand. Another hug on it's way to June.

Sorry to hurt your feelings but has just brought me an ice cream while I sit at the PC . When we met Dad was overjoyed he hated the other one I went out with but kept his and mams mouth closed. It was like going out with his daughter he would tell me to treat June with respect and start his preaching to me . I am surprised I did not have to ask dad if I could have a good night kiss off her. She has limped about and knows I run after her , about 5 year ago her dad who is her favorite . Had a massive heart attack 16% chance of the operation being a success 6 new heart valves . I kept up her spirit by being the fool in her life making her laugh when she was down . Now going to eat my ICE CREAM I've never ever had breakfast served to me on a tray - only you you old smoothy could pull that one, what a good wife you have - she's not doing that out of boredom..
