Hi guys, thought I better say that owing to illness I have had to postpone my exams which now coincide with grindelwald this year. This is a great shame as it is certainly a highlight of the year. I hope Chris that your journey runs smoothly and that you have packad your spare throttle cable and cam belt.
My tip to anyone doing a long journey is to buy a spare cam belt. CHange it before you set off and carry the old one with you. They are MUCH easier to instal when they have been used before.

By the way, in Switzerland, you have to buy a "Vignette" (CHF 40,-) if you want to use the "Autobahn" or the "Nationalstrassen" with your car, is this true also for the threewheelers?
