Hi Guys,
I'm quite new as a user on the Forum. Followed the comments but not realy participated. I'm currently collecting a number of tours on a web site, which is accessible to all, and I would appreciate your help in up-loading nice tours you've done locally (as you're probably specialist of your own regions). In that way, we can assemble a collection of all those hidden treasure spots in whichever country we cruise.
So pls have a look at the link and add whichever tour you think was unforgettable or worth to share. Would be great if you can add also a couple of practical details, such as good restaurant tips or hotel (with secure Morgan parking :)). Thanks in advance and safe touring. By the way if you encounter dificulties in uploading, drop me a line. http://www.routeyou.com/group/view/2329/morgan-sports-car-club-belgium.nl

Going to the individual trips, I don't get any routes/trips/maps at all. Just an empty grey google maps background.

Thanks for the info Julf. I'm just linking to the site on my company laptop as a visitor now. The language selection of the site is top right.
1. I'll change the language in some of the routes as it's currently in Dutch (probably not realy user friendly for UK visitors!)
2. if you click on one of the routes e.g. Scotland Tour, you should get the tour overview on the Google map, indicating some points of interest.
3. clicking on the download button, top right, gives an option to download as GPX format or straight on Garmin device and/or on TomTom.
This should normally work, if not, pls drop me a line and I'll get in touch with the site builder. There is of course the option to join the group, inserting on one of the pages your e-mail address, but I'm not sure if this is realy necessary.

Thanks, Midas!

Clicking on the Scotland Tour, I still only get the empty grey google maps background, without any map or route. Could it be a browser issue, I am using Firefox?

The download works OK, but is there an upload function? I have GPS logs of most of my trips, would hate to have to recreate the routes by hand...

I'll check if it works through Firefox.
In the mean time, to upload, you need to register and log on to the site. Then under the heading "create a route" you find tabs and one of them is "upload". In principle, it uploads all the waypoints automatically, you can name it and add it to the Morgan group.
cheers,
Luc

Indeed, testing on my other computer the site works OK, both have same version on firefox, but the other computer has a newer version of Ubuntu. Strange.
