I love the proper Mini in all it's guises, and we've had a few over the years. I could easily be tempted again. MrsW would be very happy with a Mini.

After all this time, I have still never seen an M3W on the road. If I had not seen them at MMC and car shows, I would have thought they were an urban myth, like crocodiles in the sewers.
Has any one else NOT seen one on the road yet?

Not seen a current 3 wheeler on the road but I did pass an old twin on the M6, it was quiet happily going along on the inside lane at approx 60mph.

Congratulations on the mini Andy - I'm a little bit jealous. Like Dave, (and despite owning a BMW MINI) I too refer to the old ones as proper minis. Like many of us, I cut my motoring teeth on minis, so have a very soft spot for them. The last one was a 1968 MkII Morris Cooper called Linda (from her deep throaty exhaust).... I owned it back in London in the mid to late 80's. I left it with my brother to sell for me when we moved to France in 1988. He interpreted "sell" as "not bother to put it in the paper, drive it around, never check the oil & seize the engine as a result". As to M3W's out on the road, not including the one on the lovely afternoon when Morgan France let me take their demonstrator out in the bois de Boulogne, (when the bloke with the big grin behind the Brooklands screen was yours truly)....I've seen 2.

Amazingly I've seen one or two. The last one was in Cornwall in June. I've even seen one or two old three wheelers, and they have always waved, despite their hairy arsed reputation.
