The plus 4 is expensive enough, a cosworth engine will surely make it even more expensive, may as well buy a one year old 3.7 roadster?

That was my view too, there are other good engines around, and MMC have a good working relationship with Omex, down the road in Cheltenham, who are marketing the 2.5 Duratec in various states of tune. Need I say more?

good news for Morgan, maybe have the engine as an option then you can choose to buy more performance?

Burton power supply a range of crated Cosworth Duratecs up to around 300 Bhp so there's a simple diy fix which remains a good solution.
Especially with the Suplex rear end.
"Limited Edition" is a well used marketing tool, but usually means more for the same £. Rather than more for more £.

I agree Paul and the 2.5 would give torque right up through the range.
However further down the line if you were selling a +4 with Omex 2.5 or a +4 with a factory Cosworth engine (a +4+) we all know which would hold value.

For a road-going car, I think I would prefer Trond Bråthen's air suspension modification. It is very neat to be able to control ground clearance from the driver's seat. On the AR P4 you have to stop and crawl under to adjust shades

A cheaper way to get a more impressive engine compartment, would be if MMC could use the Cosworth plenum inlet manifold. It would require no other modifications except possibly a remap of the ECU.
