laugh

We had a great day despite the odd spot of rain.
SWMBO counted over 105 Morgans!

I spotted this helpfull Health & Safety notice.

I bet it wasn't too difficult to find Frank thumbs (I did try yellow font but it was too bright to see on my screen wink )

From the photos it looks like a great turn-out in a super location.

Missed Frank (but not the car!).

A Grand Gathering thumbs .
Thanks to the organisers (also posted on SpotMog's message board)!

The weather could have been worse - SWMBO reckoned there was torrential rain much of the afternoon in Cheltenham. I only caught the edge of it on the way back from Aylesbury, around the Chipping Norton area.

Cheers,

Graham I missed you & Frank but met up with a lot of TV Mog folks.

I got wet going home in the rain mainly though because a drain had flooded the road & with on coming traffic I couldn't avoid it. Take my word for it the spray misses the windscreen & lands directly in the car.

Still it was a great day out.

Sorry guys. Endless rain in Reading from early morning resulted in the family (and friends) deciding that a picnic in the rain was not on. It would seem that Waddeson appears to have missed the worst of it, and we could have happly come along. Oh well, it did mean that my son had no excuses not to do his school revision.

See you all next time. Anyone going to Le Mans next month?

Waddington was a great day for us and it was great to meet up with Harvey and enjoyed a look over his fab car. The wetting seemed to send many people scattering to the cafe early on. The long queue sent us to the other food venue at the stable block but it was too out of the way down there in the woods.

We had arranged to meet up with an old school friend not seen for over 35 years and neither of us can believe that we missed each other due to lack of planning. I thought I had found his +8 by its registration number but discounted it because the car only had one tailpipe. It was his car. We came that close.

It was a great day for the other visitors as well with lots of interest in the cars shown by fathers and children.

A big thanks to Spotmog for a great first Morgan outing. Roll on the next one on Aug 1st.
