Just entertaining the idea of doing so. I'm very happy with my 4/4 as is (some current sensor issue but not the topic here). Priority has keeping the weight as it is (some Kg more are negligible). But I don't want to pay the price of 25Kg + in the engine bay for getting some horses. Once I let tune an Elise, 136 Toyota stock power up to 225 HP and 260 NM. Awesome power, but less nimble, adding the weight of intercooler, turbocharger, oil cooler, all the liquids etc.
So I'm wondering how much lighter is the Sigma 1,6 in comparison to any 2Liter Duratec.

The data will be on line somewhere. Or just ask Burton Power?

Tis ugly for me - I wouldn't mind sticking the power unit in an older chassis though for a bit of fun as a bit of a retirement play around.

I don't want to hijack the thread but would be seriously interested why Numog went back from a turbocharged Plus4 (If I'm not wrong here) to a 3.7 Roadster. The first in theory should be lighter and stronger, with more torque at low revs. Numog, are you willing to comment?

I think that this is like a badly done old & new mix for a car . Those headlights are as ugly as a toothless, wrinkled, tired, old whore. The wheels are no my coup of tea either but those headlights... The new rear suspension could be a good idea but, if MMC have decided to change the rear...¿why not changing the front? If they want to kill the trad style, at least don´t make it suffer . To make things short, this new car, Cosworth and all, is nothing but a pastiche of dubious taste .

I agree totally. But there is clearly 50 buyers who either like the details or don't care because they are swayed by the limited numbers.

Because they come up on a Google search as a supplier of crated Duratecs in a variety of specs. That's how I found them.

Yes, Burton Power are pretty much the main supplier of crate Cosworth engines. They are a good company to deal with for all sorts of Ford engine and tuning bits, I have bought plenty of stuff from them over the years.
