Will the 50 be used on the roads or are they going to be future 3 year old sales with 500 miles on the clock

I don't expect that many will end up high mileage.

It's fascinating reading the comments on here. On the one hand, there are the complimenters, the people who believe Morgan have a brilliant car at the right time, and those who simply hate some of the detail and even the idea of the car as a limited run.

Whichever side of the ARP4 you sit on, it's certainly a talking piece and, like Banksy, it has scored maximum even without being driven.

That is a success in any motor manufacturers book..!

ARP4 head lights have caused quite a few comments but at least its not cross eyed !!!!! and they can be opted out at no cost !! unlike early Aero 8s cross eyed for life poor things.
One of the main attractions of the car is that it is different from the rest and breaks some of the traditional taboos.
Like it or not its sold out with out even being on the road so a great sales success.
Lets hope there is a lot more innovation to come.

Why does everyone keep mentioning Burton???

I think it is because Burtonpower is a great source of what is available for Ford engines for the amateur tuner. It also gives a huge amount of information on the basic engines from crossflows through to Duratec and no doubt in time the GDI.
Added to this it also gives the gearboxes available for the engines.
It may not be where you end up, but it certainly helps with what is out there and a starter price.

Looking at the main suppliers of Duratec, Burtonpower, Omex, Racetec etc, they all provide plenty of information and Omex in particular, with dimensions etc but one of the most important things...weight....appears to be missed out!

They could have sold a lot more without the punk accessories. It's time AR started offering a menu of engine options in a truly bespoke manner. The Duratecs are out there for the taking. The market is waiting.................
