There's room for a modern twist on these cars, but don't go too far, *cough* AR-P4 ... Seems that there are at least 50-people who do not agree with you Gulf.

I think the colour is great.
I've found the colours on offer on my recent visits to the configurators of various mainstream manufacturers dreary in the extreme. It's generally a choice of red, black or white as standard colours or (for an extra £1000), various different shades of grey. Yawn.
(This doesn't mean that I don't love my black 4/4. I do. I just don't want ALL of my vehicles to be the same colour).

I reckon there would have been at least 50 more for a standard looking car, if they had gone for a 50/50 limited run of 100. I would have found it irresistable in a standard package (with a decent colour option).
After all, the LM62's did well as Plus 8's and 4/4's. Not the same thing I know, but a variation on a theme.

Good to see you bravely entering the Lions Den Jonathan! I saw the car as it went through build and its stunning. My only comment, and I've said this at the factory...it should be sold with two aero screens, not the one. I was quite sceptical of the concept of the stripped down 4/4 at first but I've had quite a number of people on my tours show some enthusiasm for it!

Skeptical!??!!
We were positively wetting ourselves on a thread a couple of months ago when someone posted a new 4/4 price list with the windscreen, hood and sidescreens as optional extras
Then slowly when the 4/4 'speedster' penny dropped many of us including me thought it a really great idea and I still do although I do think offering two Aero screens and a tonneau cover and keeping the price (excluding OTR) sub £30K is still the key to this concept
I understand the notion that the OTR cost will push the price above the £30K and that it's a false Cardinal number barrier but at £32K it's too close to nearly new fully spec'd 4/4's or a basic spec 4/4 with a windscreen and hood
I think the orange colour is great though and will attract a lot of attention which is a winner

I love this orange colour and I like the concept. As I posted at the beginning of this thread, in a nice weather zone, I would not need any more.

I think it looks great.
I'm not a fan of chrome bits, walnut etc. (unless the car is actually a classic).
That's why I bought a stripped back car with black wheels, no overriders/bumpers, clear lenses, no piping on seats ... from Oakmere.
There's room for a modern twist on these cars, but don't go too far, *cough* AR-P4 ... Reminds me of a funny conversation when I ordered a side-screen bag. A gentleman phoned me up to ask me what colours I wanted, explaining that I could have a choice of colour for the embroidered logo etc. He was a little taken aback when I asked for black bag, black embroidery. 'But you won't see the logo', 'Dude I want to hide the things ...' In the end he agreed that it could look quite good, and it does. Real nice work.

The yellow rear number plate against the orange paint just looks so WRONG. Reminds me of Opal Fruits.
