Responding to an ad in Miscellany a couple of years ago I bought a cockpit cover from Walker St Clair Car Covers (kitkat@gotadsl.co.uk). Now this will be of no interest to those who already have one, or who use a tonneau, but I have found it an extremely useful piece of kit when town-centre parking whilst on tour, or in a hotel car park overnight. Keeps out leaves and bird-droppings, deters prying eyes and, after rain, no puddling. It fits in seconds and is simply a quality product, much used and, as I found yesterday when I had a minor query, first-class after-sales response.
