Hello there. I looked on the Moto-Lita site and they recommend an offset wheel for more leg room and instrument visibility, but it looks a bit odd. I prefer the idea of a Brooklands style four spoke plain wheel, or is this too early in appearance? Would appreciate suggestions on the best wheel, and some photographs of yours if it looks good and works well. Thanks in advance. (ps - I don't have the car yet).

Neil ... try and look here for inspiration.

I'd wait and see your car first. I had views about mine which changed when I got it....no rights and wrongs re type - just what you like.

Thanks Richard. I am in Sydney by the way. Target is an 88 Rover engined car, for easy import and registration (pre 89).

I had an offset wheel. It does help with leg room & you quickly get used to it.

Ain't that the truth. I wish I had put something in Sterling when the AUD was at its peak. I would have made nearly 20%. AUD is down 10% against the Euro in the last few months too banghead

I was talking to someone in the UK when we went to TOTH who was putting everything he could into EUR because he was convinced that GBP was overvalued would drop dramatically against the Euro sooner or later. Certainly UK exports must be starting to suffer.

I ordered my car at 51c per £. Paid for it 2 months later at 46.5 but I was lucky. It's now 41.

We're down from 85c to 65c against the $US too largely due to our dairy goods price slump.

Thankfully I have all the toys I'm likely to need before I die now....
