Philip at 106 Kg you would have been a tight fit, well done. What is the red chassis we can see in the background of the photo & the wheel with Blockley tyre?
Paul, the luggage rack came from MorganPark in Hamburg. I wanted the compact look of the vintage wood railed one without the wood. Not to everyone's taste especially drilling holes in the body but I'm only using it for decoration.
Yes I've studied it for hours to get the look. The pipes are black to avoid the discolouration but also to match the roll hoops and steering wheel. The red and white splashes increase visibility and alternate with the various chrome bits along the length. Maybe a bit overdone but it is a toy after all. I sail a pink yacht :-)
A few more fine details to come yet Conrad. I'll update as I get them on.
As an aside, when I ordered it on the 20th April I resolved to get in shape by the time it arrived. Happy to report I have lost 21kg (from 106 to 85). 85 was my target but I may keep up the diet/exercise a bit longer.
I came back from SIN in Apr and weighed myself (101kgs), now 75kgs. Likewise was targeting 85 but kept going. Rediscovered joy of swimming. My wife (diabetic) has helped by eating sensibly (and not cheating at lunch whilst at work!).
is using an app on her phone that seems to help a lot http://www.thesecretofweight.com/ It is available in French and English. By just following her a bit I have lost 5kg and she has lost 10kg. We have a friend who has lost 30kg.

The first 13kg was easy, I just took my snout out of the trough and started exercising. But I stalled for 2 months. Got going again with MyFitness app, hooked up to an apple watch/iphone combination closely monitoring intake and exercise.
My day, what a day. Got down to Christchurch at about 1pm and was stunned by it's beauty (the car that is, Chch is quite sad). Immediately went for a 20 minute drive then back as I was meeting somebody there briefly. After he left I set about putting on a few knick-knacks, a few more graphics, some badges. Then went for a 2 hour drive.
The car handled great. I kept the revs steady. No bevel box noise at all. Very little centa protestations but that was my fault. Loud as, vibrations galore. All the usual things many of you know. Delightful.
Christchurch has hardly recovered from its devastating earthquake 4 years ago. It's a mess, disjointed and every road is uneven and misaligned. It was very tough driving there. Sad really, I had no idea it was still so bad. I thought progress had been made but I saw very little sign of it. It didn't help that my phone/navigator was flat and I got lost at times.
I had all the waves, smiles and comments that you have all enjoyed. While I was parked for photos and waiting for my phone to charge many people stopped to take pics and have a talk.
The car will complete its compliance on Friday and be freighted up to me early next week. I don't mind, I've had my taste and this weekend I have fathers day and my wife and son's birthday. Time to take a breath and spoil those that have had to put up with my 5 month obsession.
p.s. The wind hit me right on the eyebrows. I'm only 5'11" but short of leg and long of back so I may have to have a think about that.... Otherwise my butt fitted fine and pedal position perfect.
And it came with a beautiful fitting black mohair tonneau that I'm sure I owe Mark Cerrone a huge debt of gratitude for.
And it came with 2 of these that I have never seen anyone here mention. They are like black plastic hubcaps that fit over the wheel nut with holes for tying to the spokes.
