Glad your (and our!) wait is over. Hope you don't upset too many Germans with those kill' stickers!

Great to hear your news Philip - sounds great and looks stunning in natural light.
Shame to hear about Christchurch - one of our best holidays was to the South Island.

Hope you don't upset too many Germans with those kill' stickers! Well she is quite some miles away, so I don't feel threatened And it looks nice on her. Philip, what a great 3W. I wish many happy miles and nice adventures.

The car looks great Philip but is that a number plate or an airbrake at the rear? I assume it is the no alternative size standard fit in NZ or will they allow a smaller motorcycle one?

It's just a dealers plate Planenut as it is yet to be registered. I'm having a custom made motorcycle plate made for the rear that fits the mounting plate. It will be illegal as they don't do "car" plates that shape but I'll take the risk and carry the legal one somewhere. A legal car plate will be on the front.
Whilst the police here are usually easy going and accommodating the local councils employ parking wardens who's job is to raise as much money as possible by being petty. I have the same problem with registration and warrant stickers. They are legally meant to be on the windscreen but they will barely fit so I'm putting them in motorcycle holders on the rear plate. I just know some warden is either going be too idle to look around the car or just pedantic about the rules. It's a risk I'm happy to take.

It looks great Philip....well worth the long wait! A shame about Christchurch...its on my bucket list of places to visit...my NZ aside of the family were some of the first settlers there.
The black plastic hub plates are required in some markets as a safety measure to prevent injury from the wheel nuts. Most people take them off!
