How many being built per batch Jays? I think they are wonderful and congratulations to the lucky 50.

Floors are aluminium. That's one detail which I don't mind!

Looks like raw ali sheet and the front floors look very thin.

An update.....the engines are now in two of the chassis and the rear suspension mounts are being fitted. Great photos - I enjoy seeing large format pics of these cars being built. They look super, I'm almost tempted!!

How many being built per batch Jays? I think they are wonderful and congratulations to the lucky 50. This is the first batch of four. I don't know what the next batch will be but as it's fitting in with the other cars being built in the chassis shop, I suspect a similar number.

Looks like raw ali sheet and the front floors look very thin. They would compared to wood, wouldn't they! See how thin the chassis looks - compare that to the ash frame! Metal has so much more strength to wood at the same thickness. It's not as thin as a steel floor on other marques of car.

Sorry Mark my comment was regarding the section modulus not the material strength.
