How many being built per batch Jays? I think they are wonderful and congratulations to the lucky 50.

Floors are aluminium. That's one detail which I don't mind!

Looks like raw ali sheet and the front floors look very thin.

This is the first batch of four. I don't know what the next batch will be but as it's fitting in with the other cars being built in the chassis shop, I suspect a similar number.

They would compared to wood, wouldn't they!

See how thin the chassis looks - compare that to the ash frame!

Metal has so much more strength to wood at the same thickness.

It's not as thin as a steel floor on other marques of car.

Sorry Mark my comment was regarding the section modulus not the material strength.
