How can there be a replacement?

As has been said, either a mobility scooter or a coffin.

A last ride in a Morgan Hearse would be cool...if there was such a vehicle.

Of course there can be a replacement, there are plenty of open top cars that might allow one to keep on driving if the Morgan was too difficult to use. I love my Morgan but I don't get the slavish allegiance to a single Marque.

I don't want to go there. If I can't get into the Morgan I certainly won't be able to get into the Auster, the Kitox, the Jodel (breaking news - just added one to the toy box) so just show me the way to the pain killer cabinet. Or perhaps an engine crane can be swung into service and like an old lump of corroding metal I can be lowered into the drivers seat. Now, nurse, pass me those pain killers..

Many of us on this forum are in an advanced stage of ageing, I know I am. As a consequence we have arrived at the louvered Morgan portals via various circuitous motoring routes. From Bentleys to Vauxhalls and everything in between.

I would find another marque to be going backwards somehow, it would be something I've already owned, tried or discounted. I can't honestly think of anything I'd rather have in exchange.

I will add to the garage again, but wouldn't get out of the Morgan. It's a keeper.

Yes, I love my Morgan, and can't see me getting anything to replace it. But the last vehicle I will dispose of is the Land Rover.

If it comes to not being able to get in the Morgan I would have to buy a one way ticket to Switzerland. Perhaps a specially designed hoist attached to the luggage rack woulld help me to be lifted in and out of the car if I was stryggling to get in. Sure it could be engineered!
