Not sure if you can re-calibrate. My S1 was always around 10% out.
check the tyres you're running on - could be that they are lower profile than the original rubber and putting the speedo out? (or is that just an old wifes tale?)

Right, I have officially joined the Aero Club - so, where are the gigs, where are we all going to meet up, what should be blanked off as Morgan dates in my diary? I know the big one is at Prescott the weekend of the 25th July but there is also the Silverstone Classic that weekend. Anyone Morgan going to Silverstone?

If the speedo is similar in design to those fitted to a Plus 4 it can be easily done. On the Plus 4 the digital display of total miles is toggled to trip miles by pressing a button on the speedometer. If you hold this button down while switching on the ignition the display will show a five digit number which calibrates the speedo. One of the digits will be flashing indicating that it is possible to change it. As far as I recall, changing the numbers to the right hand side of the display (tens and units) fine tunes the calibration. Pressing the button changes the flashing number whilst (I think) a continuous press moves to the next number.
I found this out by chance and ended up with the speedo reading 120mph when I was actually doing 30mph. I would advise you make a note of the original number so you can put it back to where it was. I didn't so had a fair bit of trial and error to sort it out. Again, if I remember correctly, switching off the ignition stores the changes to the number.
Presumably, when calibrating the speedo to the gps it should be done on a flat road.
