BertR Yes, as pointed out earlier, the lever arm of the release mechanism is too short. After Trond Bråthen installed his revised release mechanism on my car, a gentle pull is enough to release the hood. Harald Not this Trond Bråthen, I suppose? It's a shocking design Mine now works after two trips back to the dealer by dint of pushing the lever to near breaking point to release the mechanism
