We have traveled about 13,000 miles in the two years our July of 13 M3W has been on the road. It was down for 6 months for a frame replacement (my fault, not Morgan's) and has only really stranded me once when the fuel pump quit. The only other issue was a bad regulator (still made it home) and numerous rubber bobbins. The new frame (March of 15) came with upgraded uprights, the isolation kit for the bevel box (really screws up bevel box oil changes) and the relocated regulator mounts. While the car was apart, I upgraded the compensator, the clutch, the shocks and added an after market cooling kit (love jugs). Probably my next mod will be the Super Max rear sprocket overlay (I'm on my second rear sprocket) and at that point, I would call it done except now I find I should probably do the front cam pulley mod kit.......
My thought is that if you are going to run one of these rigs is that you should either be quite mechanically inclined or have a thick wallet. Actually both conditions would be ideal.
Having said all that, driving an M3W is the most fun you can have with your clothes on!!

Impressive amount of failures and I admire your loyalty to the M3W and MCC. Are the 2015 M3W's fully sorted now or are they still having issues?

The 64000$ question is,

Which is more reliable

A, a fully sorted 2013 car or B, a new 2015 car?

Hmmm. Since when has anything that emerged from Pickersleigh Road been able to be described as 'fully sorted'? Logic dictates that the 2013 car has got to be a better bet smile

Having read about some of the four wheeler issues, I'd say the 2015 cars are brilliance personified..!

The 'MkII' 2014 onwards builds made the big leap forward, with only minor issues such as rear sprocket material being changed for the 2015 model year as far as I can tell.

ANY Morgan will have 'issues' it seems..sadly.

The revised exhaust mounting setup is significant and low screens less so

Some good feedback there.

As you guys know I no longer have my M3W BUT I would defiantly have another one.

I hope that you all continue to enjoy your cars.

Even if you need good mechanical know how/ a cheque book ....or a 2015 car.
