A nice methane powered flash boiler, a nice little triple expansion engine, bring her up to pressure in a few minutes and away you go. Main advantage would be that you would always have boiling water for a nice cuppa.

laugh2 I like it. Of course, the downside is having to get the boiler pressure-tested and certificated every year, with an expensive ultrasound test every few years.

There was a guy, whose name I think was Peter Pelham, who experimented with the flash boiler idea, before emigrating to Australia a couple of dozen year ago. Did you ever come across him or his ideas Peter?

I rather like the idea of an electric Three Wheeler for some strange reason, but I don't think I will be shelling out hard cash, unless the price is considerably less than the current model or I am loaned one for feedback, which is highly unlikely.

The M3W has a very high price tag in NL, must be due the CO2 based taxes on cars. Electrical propulsion will make the car more afordable due to subsidies and lower CO2 rating.
TM folk will realize that electric, in reality means it is effectively powered by natural gas, coal, nuclear energy and for a fraction solar and wind.
Kind regards,
BertR
