A couple of years ago I saw a picture of a trad Morgan for sale, possibly a 60's or 70's car but it had an unusual front from the bulkhead forward. The long sweeping wings had been replaced by cycle type wings and it looked to have specially made inner wings and possibly a specially made bonnet. From memory the car was blue in colour. Does anyone have any pictures of this car which they could post or send me?
Many thanks in advance.
John

Was that Rod Paris's car, by any chance? If so, I drove it in about 1974. Scarily fast and staggeringly thirsty, though I think he managed to improve the second part of that. He ran a company in west London called Strand Glass.

Styling owes a lot to the Frazer Nash Lemans replicas of the late '40's and early 50's. door area not as neat as the FN had no doors at all just a step in cut out.

Interesting twin side and indicator lights on top of the front wings. I've often wondered about a cycle wing conversion but I think a flat rad style front would look more balanced.
Peter.....Strand Glass. If it was the glassfibre supplier....I used them many years ago!
