can you post the high res ones for download too please?

the engine looks very low with that huge gap between the top of the engine and the hood .. any chance you can measure this and the gap for a standard Plus 4?

I tried to post the full Rez photos but for some reason it wouldn't let me.....even though my previous ones were ok. The one I've just posted for Deano was accepted but when I tried adding a second full Rez photo, it wouldn't let me! They are only photos taken by my iPhone so not exactly huge files.

If I get the chance tomorrow, I'll check the height of the engine. It's dry sumped so it may well sit a bit lower, although the engine mounts appear to be the same as the Duratec engined Plus4s.

Here is a nice little trick for you: if you show a previously attached file (by clicking on the attachment) you can copy its url from the address bar and insert it directly in a post using the image button.

Just to add to Jay's photos, as i was interested to see an iteration of the SP1 rear suspension go into production!

The Watts linkage has been swapped for a Panhard rod, but otherwise the suspension is pretty much as per the original design, though it has honed by the AR racing team.

I will be interested to hear the AR P4 owners take on this rear suspension once they take delivery of their cars...

perhaps you have run out of storage allocation on TM?

it would be really interesting to know if the Cosworth dry sumped engine does in fact sit lower, thanks.

Thanks for the photos and the drawing of the rear suspension

Looks very interesting

Lots more welds and linkages to break in difficult to access areas !

Only joking

No really, I'm just jealous

Super pic’s thanks. The suspension looks really nice. It will be Interesting to see if the offset angled panhard rod arrangement has an effect on the suspension’s lateral stiffness and axle movement under extreme conditions.

A bit of info on the engine location. It sits in exactly the same location as the 2 litre Duratec so is not lower.

The first car has now just gone into the paint shop, so hopefully later next week we should see the first car painted and in the trim shop.

Great pictures and it looks a major improvement. We will have to wait to see how well it handles.
