I think we've failed to grow up - I certainly have, Peter.
23 when I had my first Morgan, a 4/4, 64 when I bought the Roadster, and 66 with the Aero, which is the keeper if it proves reasonably reliable. 3 Caterhams between about 50 and 64, and I still love them, but swmbo hated them so much I thought she'd have to go. She likes the Aero happy3

Of course the average Morgan owning age in Scotland will be considerably lower

Age and annual mileage would be an interesting one too, so glad I retired a little early.
64 and 10,000mls for a kick off. About 454 gallons of premium unleaded at full fun factor. love laugh2

If you get more than 22mpg you are not trying/enjoying a Plus 8 to the full, growing up was never an option I found particularly appealing.

Peter

I read this post and I have to say I thought it was a multi-choice smile

Am I
a) old enough to make a sensible decision
b) capable of thought and logic
c) unable/unwilling to grow up

Excellent a quizz !

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Aged 34 and just got my Aero 8. That might throw the average slightly.

Well done, Gover!
Welcome, and great choice. Tell us more about the Aero, and looking forward to seeing pics when you can post them. thumbs

Easiest to pop over and look at the advert at http://www.autotrader.co.nz/used-cars-for-sale/morgan-aero+8/1242472

The one thing I am struggling to find is a manual for this S3. I've got what looks to be a manual for an S4 since it references the 4.8 V8 and a few features the S3 lacks.

That looks beautiful! Great choice......mine is an S3 too, and I love it.
By the way, your 'signature' says it's a 4.8 V8.
Good luck finding a S3 manual - if you can't, I guess I can scan mine and send it over.

Yeah - S3s rule! Had mine since new in 2007. Almost 17000 miles and very few problems (although it does tend to lose a bit of coolant from time to time!).

I reckon these are better than the S4s in many ways...

There's not a lot in the manual anyway, but we're all happy to help and there's plenty of experience of owning these on these hallowed pages.

Don't worry if the air-con sometimes fills the car with water vapour after turning off - it seems a standard feature and will clear again after a few minutes of fog.

Have fun! (age 54 but only 46 when I got the car!!)
