Had to happen.... I've dinged one of the wheels of my 8. Touched a kerb and it's damaged the stainless rim - I have the split rim types.

Does anyone know who makes these wheels?

Thanks

Thanks John - I looked on that site, it could be this - but I'm not sure...

Do MWS do all wheels for Morgan? I thought maybe they might be Image Wheels, but really not sure.

They seem to do rims - which look like the Plus 8 rims... The rims being the outer stainless or chrome band.

Oh bu**er!

I've done it too, fortunately the Aeromax wheels are painted, so a repair wasn't difficult or expensive.

I'm now slightly paranoid about parking!

I thought the chrome piece on the Corsa wheel was glued on to the alloy.

These people may be able to help. I've not used them but they seem to have a good reputation locally.

I had an Aero 8 S3 that I bought second hand wheel that looks quite similar (although I have been told the manufacturer of later wheels is different...)

This was quite badly curbed all round and not really as described before I bought it unseen for £115. I suppose the price was fair.

Brands Hatch Morgans had the wheel reconditioned for me for about £100 and it now looks as good as now - and is a spare which I'll be keeping until I need it! Meanwhile I avoid kerbs like the plague!! I don't know where they sent it but I'm sure they can remember. It was only last year...

Failing that a mobile service might be able to help but I don't think the stainless rims are easy to fix this way (just a guess).

Good luck!

Good to know Alan , thanks.

I have just had 4 tiptop wheels refurbished at RimTec in Meopham.

Pretty awful premises so I feared the worst , but was pleasantly surprised.

Not cheap as each on needed some welding in order to repair dents, but the finish looks good. About £100 per wheel, refurb only would be £50 to £60.
