Hi, I need to connect a cable from the car main headlights to terminal 86 of my spot relay. The roadster wiring diagram indicates a "front fog lights" connector behind the dash.Is this suitable? This conn. has two wires. One is RO (red/orange ?)and the other (U/Y ) what is U? Are they both live feeds or is one of them earth?. Any help would be appreciated. Regards Ray

U = Blue. The convention is Blue/Yellow - Spotlamp switch to lamp. The Red/Orange convention is sidelamp switch to right hand sidelamp, so that's a bit odd. Consult an auto electrician if in any doubt. See this link: http://www.mgb-stuff.org.uk/colourcodes.htm
