What´s it like to drive without the front mudguards? Lots of flying debris? It looks really cool to me. Somewhat nastier in the rain, I guess. Not sure it would be legal here in Sweden, although I believe you are allowed to ride a motorbike without one.
Came back yesterday from a 3-day-trip thrue the Swiss alps. Went over the following passen: Oberalp, Splüegen, Maloja, Bernina and Flüela. Wheather was pretty (fresh), especially on the Splüegen ;-) https://www.flickr.com/photos/75738841@N00/21915173715/in/album-72157659009059218/
Train down to Perth this morning and this afternoon drove the wee red car back over Glenshee to Aberdeen. Everything seems to be working as it should with its new chassis and Stage One pipes and air filter.
So far, it seems to do what you would expect; more power, cleaner feeling running and more noise but nowhere near as noisy as the original Morgan sports pipes or the Crazy Horse pipes. Different tone to the noise from the G56 pipes but hard to describe without a proper back to back - it's three months since I drove with the G56 system so hard to say. Same sort of comment regarding engine performance between the Stage One and the G56, I really couldn't say which is better or if they are actually very similar, my feeling is the latter. Still have people smiling and waving when I drive past so can't be too loud. No heat shield on the silencers so no more warming the right hand on the exhaust. Adds a bit of danger to the whole experience so I'll take it a s a bonus - till I try getting out of it when wearing shorts (or the kilt!)
" dix mille tours" on the HTTP Paul Ricard at le Castellet Two superdry Superwet under the rain A lot of Morgan on the paddock Only one on the track the aluminium SLR Today beautiful weather ...on the road again
