In the middle of May my brother in law was diagnosed with lung cancer, not to worry as immediate treatment was available and the consultant was optimistic. Very quickly he found out it was the most aggressive form of cancer and despite all the efforts of the medical team, passed away in the early hours of this morning.
I cannot get my head round the speed this all happened last Weds we had a conversation and said see you at the weekend, Thursday to all intent and purpose he had left us.
Cancer really is a B*****D of a disease.

Same with the father Inlaw last year .He came to us for Christmas dinner no problems then with in weeks was gone.

Sorry to hear the sad news, had a similar experience quite some years ago with my step-father. Lung cancer is still a deadly killer. Condolences to your wife and you on your tragic loss.

Sorry to hear you news, I lost father at 64 and brother at 39 it is a parentless child of a disease.
Praying for you all for the strength to cope.

Sorry to hear of your loss. My brother went the same way two years ago, niggling stomach pain one day and gone just a few weeks later.

went last month still not sunk in made me more atheist than I was.

So sorry to hear your sad news. Yes its terrible.. so many seem to leave us so quickly, only last week the partner of a work colleague passed away with only a weeks notice, he was 30.
I lost my mother when I was only 20 odd to it.. its the one charity I give to regularly in hope of progress towards a cure.
Its truly a b*****d disease.

Very sorry to hear of your sad news.
A close friend of ours passed away very soon after cancer diagnosis.
As we were at the funeral I made myself a firm promise to do everything I want to do in life before it's too late( and within my ££ means).
I have put off way too much for way too long already.
Our friend was 58.
