If you buy a 2015 car IMO you will be fine!
The car is now very well sorted!
So relax and go for it!!!
If I had the garage space I would buy another M3W!

I think that M3W ownership must be like love, intense highs and intense lows.
Credit to the factory, where due, for fixing things when they go wrong and it's nice to hear of some happy owners.

Oh, I choose automotive lust, that isn't the issue. But the kinds of problems many are encountering is akin to being involved with the sexiest woman in town..who is invariably laid up with various infirmaries most of the time. I use and enjoy my things..even the very special ones....and wouldn't see this purchase as something to adorn my garage, and certainly not to spend long periods of time at the dealership...over 2 hrs away. The product should perform as advertised, and so should the company that manufactured it. Fuel pump failures at 600 miles or exhausts that fall off or 7 week part deliveries really shouldn't be a part of the programme. These are expensive, custom made objects (D'art?) produced by a small, niche manufacturer, you'd expect more not less reliability, and absolutely top notch, personalised factory/corporate involvement in resolving any issue quickly and effectively.
It's curious to me that such a small, genteel company like Morgan doesn't have some presence on boards like these to address QC concerns if only for PR...
After reading this thread I went to sleep last night very depressed....*Sigh*....

I've got a 2012 and since upgrading a few things, I've been using it for a daily driver for over 3 1/2 months. The absolute fun I've had---people must have worn out lots of cell phone cameras taking pictures. When my mood is down I go for a ride. Best therapy I know. So go for it and don't delay!

I too have had to replace split bobbins on the rectifier and exhaust. I have now taken my experience with my sail boat and transposed it to the M3W. For the first four years of ownership I replaced the bilge pump diaphragm three times. Since then I have regularly sprayed the diaphragm with silicon spray. After two years it still looks like new. I now spray the bobbins with silicon every time I wash the M3W. Seven months and over 3,000 miles and the bobbins appear sound. I also spray the tubes running from the engine, but plan to replace those sooner rather than later.

Erm? What exactly is a "bobbin"? And a "rectifier"?
