Hi there,

It's time to do the bi-annual service, to document this I have collated the attached (mostly from GoMoG click here) but tailored to my '76 4/4 4 seater (and formatted differently).

Just keen to document what I do. Also allows me to do it over a number of nights etc.

Might be useful to others?

R.

Richard-Aus,
Thank you for putting this together, I will certainly print and use that which is applicable to my Plus 4 GDI.

Very useful Richard. Interesting use of the word Cockpit to describe the interior. Obviously applies to small aircraft but I guess also to sports / racing cars.

A good list. When my new garage is completed, I'm planning on mounting a whiteboard on the wall with some laminated service sheets stuck to it that I can use as a checklist when working on the car.

I use the same word too. As a sailor it just seemed obvious to me, but perhaps it is an Australian usage.

Richard. Wonderful and thank you. It is just what I needed, a Plus 4 maintenance listing. (I haven't had a Plus 4 before, but hope to get one this fall.) I will add these tasks as appropriate to my master listing.

I too have a maintenance listing which helps me manage the periodic maintenance needed on my cars. I have multiple cars so the master listing is extensive. Some of the tasks occur for several cars but have different frequency, either based on the calendar or mileage. Some are specific to a single car so I identify them (e.g. F Super, or MX4)

I identify all of the tasks I think are needed and associate them with each car, then change the frequency as necessary. For each car, I specify a frequency (e.g. months) or a mileage (which ever comes up first.) Then I have specific listing for each car to manage to. (The to-do list is worse than a nagging wife!!)

I use a cheap, commercially available fleet management tool to keep track of this mess. I log maintenance tasks when accomplished, repairs, usage and fuel. The database then gives me the 'full service history' we talked about on TM some months ago. The attached file gives you a sense of what I have. Most likely over engineered!!

Again Thanks!!
