I'm going for a test drive (finally) and wanted some advice or tips for the experience,anything I should prepare myself for in advance..other than thrills, of course...also, if I place an order, any advice there?

Hat that stays on, wrap around shades or goggles and a good, happy attitude.
You know, the stuff you would bring if you owned one!
What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Try and make sure they have the pedals in the correct position for your height. It's not a quick job to move them but makes a big difference (obviously). On my test drive they were set up for someone over 6ft and I am, er, not!

Important detail, unless you have small narrow feet, then a pair of slim fitting shoes or ideally racing type driving shoes makes it much easier to only press the pedal that you want to press. Or indeed to press the combination of pedals that you want to press!
Apart from that, enjoy the ride.

Ear plugs maybe worth carrying  + a big jar of grin ointment for afterwards.

Thanks, I've got the attitude packed and ready to go, the shades, and some moisturizer for my face afterwards.
I'm 6'1", I'll call to inform the dealer.
Anything about the ordering process? Are there any options not on the Configurator I should know about?

Check your dates carefully. Morgan ping you 250 pound for every change you made after d-day. In my case nobody told me the d-day.
You have a choice of mohair tonneau colours (thats not on the order form)
Don't bother with the pockets, they hold nothing.
Think carefully about black pipes if discolouration of the headers is something you don't want to live with.
It looks like screen height might be an option, check.

If you ever plan to visit a city in the summertime you should order the City cooling kit for the engine. (It may be standard nowadays but was not when I got mine and I had to fit it afterwards).

I found that it took a little while to get used to the 'completely different' driving experience. It may take you half an hour to begin to feel at home... Just ease yourself into the test drive slowly.
