Great ride around town this week. I noticed a beautiful E30 M3 in my mirrors so I pulled over at the next rest area and he followed along with a very nice Triumph TR6.
Took my car the 98 miles to the dealer in Perth for chassis brace, rear sprocket & service at 6500 miles & 2 years. It was 3C & sunny on starting out & had risen to 6C in 30 mins. Then turned cloudy & it was around 11C for the remainder of the drive. For some reason traffic was light. Waiting for the bus home all incoming buses from south were late.
I'm very pleased with my new Caberg Riviera V2 helmet which gives good visibility but I still need ear plugs. I bought some heated mittens which kept my hands warm. They were cheap but work. Maybe not so good over a much longer or colder drive. Two pairs of socks & bike gear kept the rest of me fine. http://www.silvermans.co.uk/collections/...-tab-1388048963
Quick outing in the 8 to Wisborough Green and a pint of Sussex. Then home and a rinse down for the car and in the garage. Ran it as empty as I could last weekend and put 49.5 litres in it at the garage... seems to run a bit smoother on premium.
