The paint is peeling off my rear numberplate holder/boot hinge/brake light holder after 3500 miles. The paint doesn't seem to stick to the sharp edges of the steel parts. Anyone else had this?

Only on my headlamp mounting brackets, also on the sharp edges. Poor powder coating I expect.

My headlamp brackets flacked. I needed a new R/H haedlamp so bracket, lamp & indicator changed as unit & L/H bracket only, all warranty work.

Yes, I had the same problem with my headlamp brackets so MMC kindly replaced them under warranty. This also had the bonus added effect of providing more (read 'some') clearance between the front indicators and the top wishbones. smile

I'm hoping ACF50 will keep the paint lasting longer on my new brackets

Powder coating a relatively sharp edge is awkward. A thick component can have a chamfer added to help, but a thin sheet part like a headlamp surround is always going to be a problem.
