I have a 95 +8 with cast iron manifolds cats and a half metre of straight thru expansion chamber on either side (did have librands silencers till they fell to pieces internally)-sounds good and not too intrusive (regularly do 500 mile trips).
pulls all the way from 10000 rpm
I also have a 94 +8 with librands highly complicated twin exhaust -sounds very peaceful no fuss on overun etc.
only seems to come alive above 35000 rpm

...only seems to come alive above 35000 rpm Chris, watch your engine! Mine runs fine at lower revs but it's only a 4/4
