Clever I thought..as long as you park them the right way round!

I have seen that pair many times. Embankment Road. On nice cars historically, One is usually an Aston. I would love to find out the owners. Wonderful.

My beloved wife bought me ABM27 for my birthday. Given me age I said it was just over half my age. She said close half something but actually my IQ.

I like it on the Coupe it gives it a timeless plate.

I agree and have broken two of my own rules

When I first got the Morgan I really didn't like calling Morgans Mogs and said to myself I would never use the name

I also didnt like personalised plates and also thought them naff

Then I start using the name Mog and buy a MOG reg for the car

Morgans make you do funny things !

I don't understand the DVLA's attitude.

If this is a money making exercise why don't they show a little more imagination? In many US States you can freely select letters and numbers up to the 6 digits required. Here it would be 7. So MORGAN 1 to 9 would be available...

Also, DVLA "Censor" combinations they feel might offend, to a level that remind me of the 1950s. So SEX, GOD and a number of less obvious words are forbidden, as are some numbers. Try buying anything with 666 and 999 on it, even though they used to be available.
To show their lack of humour they have tried to cancel some previously sold, including PEN 15. According to on report the owner fought this through the courts, I don't know what happened.

Depending on the outcome, he's feeling either up or down.

The plate I just bought from DVLA for SWMBO was V999 MJL (MJL being her initials), so that 999 number was presumably deemed ok because of the V prefix.

I recently tracked down the plate of my fathers first car.... 1960 Morris Oxford. I just had to buy it....so many happy memories. Although from a dealer, they dropped the price and it was quite reasonable. Not that I bought it for an investment or a bargain....it's a keeper.
