Interesting photos Swissghost, do you have any of the other side, the clutch and Centa drive? Not something you see or hope to see too often but nice to know what it should look like. Although maybe a little more vibration at times the Centa drive is worth the outlay and trouble. For information, when I had it done at Malvern I got some money back on the old unit as an exchange item.
With the engine out you would have thought the welded in brace would have been the better option.

the centa i have to pay. 1800 sfr! Sounds about right, my Centra on the same basis - Morgan pay labour, I pay parts - was £1,350 which at today's exchange rate is nearly CHF 2,000.

Which is a very loose interpretation of 'warranty upgrade'! The cost of the parts should be only the difference between the failed, not-fit-for-purpose item and the Centa. Paying for the Centa outright however, is simply not cricket really...

my 3 wheeler is at the dealers shop...getting the bracing kit and the centa drive. warranty expires end of january, so i have to do it now. the old compensator is making rattling noises. labor is paid by morgan, the centa i have to pay. 1800 sfr! Hi Swissghost, my M3W is also at the dealer for the moment ...same as you, chassis kit, Centa, and a few bobbins under warranty. As my compensator rattled louder than the engine, it is replaced under warranty by a Centa drive as they dont do the old compensators any more...this should be completely free  ...hope not getting a bad sur'price' when I get it back on satursday..I keep you posted. I dont see why to pay for a replacement under warranty as Morgan changes the part for an upgradet one which is standart now...

I have just had the steel rear sprocket fitted, old alloy one badly worn at 2 years & 6500 miles. I have to pay £264, half parts cost & Morgan pay labour. I argued since June but MMC wont budge beyond that offer. I'm still waiting to collect it as it has ECU issues.

Hi Andy, I payed the same amount for my Centa. Seems a "normal" price when I read on TM To my opinion in this parts price is also the labor which say Morgan is paying for us.
