Richard, thanks. I was just trying to get my head around the "twelve o'clock" system. I will fill-up on Saturday, as I assume the system is adjusted on Sunday!

Yoda

The force is strong in this one and I should know in a few weeks if I have been converted to the dark side- The draw of V8 and no roof is just too much.

Gajet fleet change is being reviewed

Never liked the BMW anyway

The force is indeed strong...there is no way back once you have surrendered yourself to the dark side of the Morgan Plus 8.

BMW used to make great cars and engines. They have lost their way: the Plus 8 houses the last of the great naturally aspirated BMW V8s. It is the duty of those that have surrendered to the force to preserve them for all time!

Nick is of course right...the flap hinge has to be at the top!

Oops!

I knew it was one or the other. I go from the two holes being at the top. What with the clocks going back, I was totally confused. smile

When I heard about this tip I was very sceptical, how could it make any difference. But it definitely does improve filling.

I've been wondering if there is any reason why I shouldn't glue the moving ring into the "correct" position.
A small bead of Araldite, or fuel proof silicone, perhaps.

So, reasons why not to, anyone?
