So, what have the Costs been over a year?

Fuel:
8000 miles, 25mpg, average £1.20/L = £1600
Road Tax = £505
Insurance:
Fully Comprehensive, agreed value £79,000, no mileage limit and including commuting/business use = £645
Annual Service = £413.39

Total: £3163 = £0.40 per mile.

How much do reckon it's cost the company in warranty work?

Ouch! That's a bit below the belt, isn't it?

Below whose belt? My post certainly wasn't meant to get at Peter J in any way.

I wish! I pay twice that for half the valuation and a lot less than half the hp.

Is that a reflection on the standards of driving/parking/attitude of drivers in Italy Peter. Parking by ear etc etc ?

No, it is a reflection on the number of cars that are not insured and the high level of insurance fraud. This is according to my insurance agent.

Strangely enough the Plus 8, at over €100K new, could probably be insured for less than the Plus 4 because the insurance company has a special rate for "special" cars that are valued over €100K, probably on the somewhat strange idea that such cars are rarely used.

Missed the post...

Simple answer.

Three warranty claims since I got the car.

1. Replaced front discs due to incorrect pads fitted on the RHS.
2. Leaking ATF/Water intercooler
3. N/S downstream Lambda sensor replaced.

I consider that to be acceptable on a bespoke hand built product.

That's very reasonable they spent a fortune on my new Sport in 2009 with all the bits that kept coming unglued..
