Mine arrived this morning and all OK. A nice pack. Prescott opens at 0800 which is good, because travelling from oop North I usually set off as the cock crows…………  But I’m surprised to see that Cheltenham Racecourse opens at 10.00 which makes me think it will be congested going in. Does anyone know the layout there??? Will early arrivals be able to park up or will it be a case of queuing outside??????? The address on mine was a bit 'sketchy'. No town or county, but bless the PO it got here as the postcode and house number/street name/sub town were all OK. I also intend to visit the Simmonds trade fair but not sure which of the two days. That also opens at 10.00.  Thoughts anybody?????

Some Good Questions Dave. I also wondered about the Cheltenham opening time. Hopefully half of Morgan visitors will already be there and parked up having stayed there camping for most of the week or arrived in the cavalcade the day before. We are only going for the day on Saturday so had better take a packed breakfast.

Could be tempted by the Simmonds 'trade fair' - if I'm not brewing lots of tea for those that fancy a hop across Cheltenham from the racecourse... Wonder if I could fill the road with Morgans...  Cheers,

Graham - I intend to be down at Cheltenham around 08.30, even though the event gates don't open until 10.00 - hopefully to beat the rush........ It's a shame that Simmonds Trade Fair also opens at 10.00 (and not earlier). I'm thinking it might make more sense to do Cheltenham first, then drop off at Simmonds after lunch on the way back home. I might come down again on the Sunday but it depends on the weather and whether it's good enough (blasphemy I know).  I hope to see you at Prescott on the Saturday before, so if you're doing Simmonds we can make some sort of plan........ and see who else is in the frame  Frank (Yellow Peril) is doing Cheltenham on the Saturday

bah!  I'm working that saturday. On the sunday I'm off to France  for a couple of weeks [not mogging though - camping trip to the Auvergne so the D-90 will be loaded to the roof] gonna miss most centenary events

Thanks Graham, D-90 is like a trad Mog in that it turns seemingly mundane journeys into an adventure, usually manage a couple of French trips a year, though next spring planning to go by Mog so will leave the tent behind
