Hi Dan,
You are pretty close on your guesstimate. Empire recommends 0 toe, 1 to 1.5 degrees negative camber and 6 to 8 degrees caster as a starting point.

Thanks.

That seems to be about what people are using. It is also close to what MGB used on their kingpin frontends from '62 to '80. Although the upper and lower arms on the MGB cannot be adjusted and the whole frontend is mounted on the crossmember at around 8 degrees caster. They're since come out with a set of caster wedges that lower the caster back to around 5 or 6 degrees. They say with so much caster the cars tend to be pretty heavy on the nose and the lowered caster with new modern radial tires helps the "race" feel of the cars.

With just three wheels, any up/down motion of the front wheels when turned will just rotate the frame on axis so I doubt that anything would ever be felt.

Thanks for the Empire information.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

Dan I trusted then to check toe in & nothing bent. My 1930 Sunbeam you cannot even adjust that unless you use a big hammer or maybe make some wedges between steering arm & hub.
