Seems my new garage will not be ready for this winter.
Any recommendations for a good car cover & dehumidification?
As car now having to sit outside & about 500 yards from the sea.

I used an outdoor Carcoon over one winter a few years ago, pleased with the protection it gave.

Er...I would rent an inland lock-up immediately or pay for professional storage.

Any car cover that touches the car will scratch it and damage the finish.
A Morgan is a very desirable and expensive item that deserves decent protection. I would sort storage while your garage is being sorted, worth it in the long run

I used to love living near the ocean but I hated what it did to everything that can corrode. Move to a freshwater lake is my suggestion. Lake Como is pretty good smile

The only thing is that they do salt the roads in winter. banghead

Ah well, you can't have everything.

An outdoor Carcoon is about the only thing that will meet your requirements. Great for long term storage but a bit of a pain if you use the car on a regular basis. Also have a look at the temporary garages on the Machine Mart website, Morgan parked inside!

If its storage for the season then try Permabag. I had an outdoor one for my Caterham, and now have an indoor one for the Morgan.

Permabag are very good.

I have used an indoor version in a garage for a Classic Rover Mini since it was new in 2000 and the car still looks and smells new with no adverse effects. With permabag you need to use dessicant canisters which do need recharging in an oven every 6 months or so.

Permabag isnt very user friendly as its more of long term solution andis a faff to use for regular use. My advice is buy the next version up as it can be quite tight!

For those who dont know permabag its basically a huge air tight bag made if tough air tight material with a huge zip.
