Its in the paint under sun light it was noticed on hand over, flaw in the paint, the thing that worry me as Morgan did not paint in gloss as I paid for ,but I got extra top coat,so the car in not matt but more like satin finish,as something gone wrong here on this extra top and be near impossible to put right without a full paint job ;(

I think you've been unlucky. On Wednesday there were one or two bits of paint circled on the ARP4s for rectification. And the final inspection booths are very well lit. See my photo of the yellow Plus 8 on the factory visit thread.

All it needs is for them to use a gloss lacquer. All base coats are matt anyway. I would imagine a gloss silver superdry wouldnt be behond the scope of Morgans excellant paintshop. The finish on the cars i have seen at the factory over the 18 months has been superb, better than many mass produced cars. If it does require a full repaint (unlikely i would guess) perhaps it could be gloss finish silver this time ? Full marks to Scott for not taking delivery, despite the understandable desire to drive the car, before its in an acceptable condition.

Sorry about this news Scott.
If you are not happy with the finish ( Apart from the flaws) why not have MMC repaint the full car?
Love the Sterkowski headgear ...excellent ...might buy myself for my winter drives!
They seem outstanding value too.

Here's hoping for good news on the real delivery date (and maybe even the original paint finish!) in the meantime here's a self portrait back in the garage after my first run with the Sterkowski flying helmet/collar and mask combo; Just a try out coming up the dual carriageway from Perthshire to Aberdeen in the dark and dropping temperatures but initial verdict is very good indeed, really comfortable and warm. Just need some low temperatures now.

Scott if its gone back for paint rectification hopefully you will get the gloss you ordered. I hope the weather is good when its finally ready for collection & you don't feel you need to leave it till conditions improve. Are you paying for insurance on it? If so as you cannot drive it ask for compensation. Don't ask don't get.
