I dropped my 4/4 in at Morgan France this afternoon to get the repairs to the damaged wing rolling. The burgundy Max which sold recently at Bonhams was there - truly gorgeous. Apologies for the quality of the snaps - the light wasn't too good. I was dropped back at the station in an immaculate shelby mustang convertible - not my bag of tricks, but I can see why people like them. Amazing exhaust note.

Giles - is that a Panhard PL17 Break to the left of the Aero behind the Aeromax? Very rare if it is. http://www.mcpheatautomotive.co.uk specialise in Panhards in Lancashire, of all places! Don.

Got some pics of that max in the wild in France from around 2011 I think on my blog. Http://theaeromax.tumblr.com - would love to add these if that's ok?

Yes it is - there is also a Panhard specialist in the same unit, there's a bunch of interesting Panhards in there.

There seems to be a lot of four seaters there in the photo I thought that. To be honest, I'm always a bit surprised that the 4 seater isn't more popular. For the family man there's not much choice of 4 seat open top sports cars out there. Plenty of convertibles, just not many real sports cars. Had I been in a position to buy a Morgan ten years earlier, I'd have gone for a 4 seater, no question.

Giles
Quite agree, and to prove point have just added a 1974 4 seater to fleet. Though the rear seats are maybe not as useful/comfortable as on the newer 4 seaters, they'll be used either for grandchildren, dog or luggage. All of course dependant on the outing!
By the way I though Morgan France was no longer?

They do still exist. They had to give up the previous premises because the rent had become unbearable. They have a place down in Bandol in the South, and in the Paris region are operating out of a classic Jaguar specialist - SPR Jaguar http://www.garage-spr-jaguar.fr in Saint Maur des Fossés (to the East of Paris). I understand that they are looking for a new showroom in central Paris, with room for 2 or 3 cars for the sales side, with the servicing and repairs will continue to operate out of SPR. I had a good look round SPR yesterday and was impressed with the place.
