There is nothing I would change about my M3W. It is perfect for me. Me too.

How about the easy stuff?: 1) Make the seat belt clips about three inches higher.
2) A steering wheel that actually befits the look of the car and not something taken off my kids pedal car.
3) Easy access drain plugs for oil changes.
4) Do away with the absurd "Rest of World" charge.
5) Put another inch between each pedal and move them over to the left another inch.
6) Make the font on the speedo large enough so you can actually read the numbers..maybe even make it digital!
7) Comprehensive gauges for temp, oil pressure, volts, etc. I agree with all that except 5. Pedal box layout seems just about perfect for me. I have no problem with #7 being on the stalk button, and keep the dash relatively uncluttered. Essentially I'd take exactly the same car without the service and durability issues. Sort them, and I think it's a great product.

It's a funny little thing that M3W. Sometimes I think it's the best car in the world and sometimes I truly believe it's the worst. I doubt anything else has this ability! Unique. Don't change it too much - just make it more reliable.

Probably more than anything else..$2800 shipping to the East Coast, $800 "Customs fee", the 2.5% "Duty"...all before local taxes and DMV fees...it's the ROW charge that got under my fingernails. It's a motor cycle, the "Federalization" process and associated costs aren't quite the same as it is for a car.
There are certain costs business needs to absorb, it just leaves an awful impression when the profit motive is exposed as just so bare knuckled. Customers should be made to feel appreciated, not merely as open wallets.

The current spec is awful to my mind, not even BL would have tolerated it on an Allegro or Maxi. You cannot be serious?! The only thing I would change is making the indicators entirely manual so they don't 'time out' and stop just as one is doing a turn in the middle of the road. Many small tweaks and improvements to come no doubt but in my mind the 2015 model is as perfect as one could hope for a specialised car that drives. looks and feels like no other. There again they could change the steering wheel to a square one like an Allegro?

The indicators, good point. The car is an uneven mix of yesterday and today, and the wand that doesn't click down and stay thru the turn is odd, as are the digital displays.
The problem with the steering wheel could be easily addressed by making the spokes brushed aluminium, it's too dark. Aeroplanes do not have steering wheels anyways, and the wheel is a visual focal point, having it ugly makes it even more visually significant.
Have I also said the seat belt clips should be on arms that are at least 3 inches taller?

The steering wheel's an easy fix with the Brooklands and I think now also a wooden wheel as a factory option? +1 on the longer seatbelt mounts - I've got a plug in extension which works but is a bit unsightly. As the bevel box uses straight cut gears it'll always make some noise. A change to helical gears is the solution but that would be down to Quaiffe. Overall, one can argue many of these "features" give the car it's character

The bevel gearbox has helical gears, not straight cut. I always thought they were straight cut as they were almost as loud as a Cooper S I had once with a straight cut box. The photos I have seen of the inside shows helical gears.
