I got my M3W registered in Italy only 3 days ago, this was my first weekend with it. We have been having 3 weeks of sun in Northern Italy and today we had 23 degrees (there were 16 degrees C already at 9 am): gourgeous day for a ride, plenty on thumbs up from people...drove my kids to school...so nice ! I stopped at tue traffic light next to a Porsche, I am very sure I was having more fun !

You were definitely having more fun, I swapped a Porsche for mine and don't regret it one minute.

I once stopped next to a black 911 Turbo with a bunch of kids in the back. He rolled down his window and said, with a big smile: they all took a quick vote - yours is cooler than mine.

I quite enjoyed that...

Austrian I had to use starter spray when I was having sensor & ECU issues but otherwise no. I tip given by the mechanic fixing mine, switch on the ignition till you hear the fuel pump cut out, turn off & repeat twice more then start. This does seem to make a difference to mine from cold start.

TimG: thank you for your proposal. Seems to make a lot of sense as I got the impression there is just no fuel in the lines when the M3W was resting weeks in the garage.

Perfect weather, will be out today collecting smiles...

That's interesting. My wee girl seems to spin over for several uncomfortable seconds on the starter before firing up & this may help. It never fails to start, just gives the impression that it knows better than you..

I'll try this, thanks.

Out for a romp through the woods on Sunday 08NOV15 with the Strahorn's ... not really cold enough (50') for the Bomber Jackets, but couldn't resist.

thumbs cheers
