Not today (I was taking a friend flying) but my 25 year old son did. He called me up around noon to ask if I was around as a work colleague had a Fraser (NZ's best 7 clone) at work. I told him I wasn't but to go get the car. He kept it all afternoon, into the evening and picked a girl for a date on top of one of our volcanos. Only brought it home when it got cold. Grin a mile wide and photographed 100 times. He's hooked. Posted a picture taken last weekend of how he normally gets his thrills on his foiling A Class cat while we were chasing him at 20knots on Sundreamer.
At least I got it back in one piece, 11 years ago my stepson took my Ferrari for a drive without my knowing and crashed it. 26k of damage :-(
Took ZK-MOG out to a warbirds open day at my home airfield, Ardmore. Had a great day and the M3W got more than it's fair share of attention. Annoyed that some parents think it's okay to allow their children to climb all over and into the car, standing on seats and fiddling with stitches. I gave one lot a real serve. I like kids, it's their parents I can't stand generally.
A couple of pictures and a video of the Kittyhawk, Spitfire, Mustang display
